About the Artist
Steve has been drawing since he was a small child (did he grow up then?) and equates it to breathing, he can't do without it!
We dug up some of Steve's history! Born in 1962 in Billericay Essex, a village 30 miles east of London, England, Steve started drawing at an early age, he then progressed from the bedroom wall onto paper! As a growing boy he loved to draw as well as watching cartoons on tv and reading comic books.
Steve received his art training at school and soon his talent began to shine. After college he got his first job as a messenger working for a commercial art studio in Soho London. This he enjoyed and soon progressed within the studio, working along side cartoonist's, lettering artist's and other people mad about art!
A Professional Member of the International Society of Caricature Artists (ISCA), Steve attends their annual convention and has drawn in Tokyo, Las Vegas, Reno and Orlando as well as all over the UK & Europe. In 2005 Steve appeared on ITV1, filmed drawing his caricatures to entertain! Steve is also an Executive Committee Member of the ISCA. Steve will be filming with the BBC in July 2010 for a special appearance and performance for the CBBC channel on the BBC!

Steve is married with two grown up children and lives not to far from where he was born. He works from home and travels far and wide providing FUN Caricture Entertainment that really makes the party swing.
Here's what one wedding bride had to say, 'Hi Steve, just a quick note to say thanks for yesterday, we really appreciated your fantastic talent and great sense of humor and so did the guests! We had the best day ever and thank you for your part in it, take care, Rachel and Ben'.
Steve enjoys time with his family and friends, photography, all kinds of good music (Steve is also a drummer) and keeping fit...(he must be mad!) Steve and his wife love to travel and are planning on visiting as many places around the world as they can!
Steve has been inspired by many artist's since he was a small boy, from people like Mort Drucker to Rolf Harris. Growing up he used to watch as many art related television programmes as he could and would often be found with his Dad, watching Tom & Jerry cartoons together. Children's television was also a great source for art and such shows as Vision ON with the amazing artist Tony Hart, who sadly is no longer with us, really had an impact on Steve.
Walt Disney has always been a huge influence on Steve's art and he has always enjoyed and loved everything Disney produced. Today Steve still has a great love for Disney and is excited to see how they are moving forward with technology and the production of their art and wonderful movies. Steve always loves to spend time in Orlando at Walt Disney World.
